Sanctuary Queer Arts anniversary showcase

Showcasing brand new work by Sanctuary-supported LGBTQIA+ artists, alongside partnership events with Scottish Queer International Film Festival (SQIFF), the Gallery of Modern Art Youth Group, Deaf Rainbow Scotland and Glasgow’s legendary Queer Theory cabaret. Plus a daytime LGBT Elder’s disco and an industry-focused discussion around mental health and wellbeing.

All online events are free and will have live, and/or pre-recorded captions in English, and will also be interpreted by British Sign Language interpreters.

Plus, incase you can’t make the premières live, all the Sanctuary films will also be available on demand for 2 weeks.

Events marked CC will have live, or pre-recorded captions in English. These captions will express all text spoken, and any background sound that informs the action onscreen. 

For film screenings the captions will be pre-recorded.

For live discussion events live-captions will be provided and optional and instructions on how to turn on the captions will be clearly described at the start of the event.

BSL - Interpreted

All live events marked BSL will be interpreted by British Sign Language interpreters.
